Description

A creamy and comforting vanilla cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for any celebration or cozy gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the sugar and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until well combined.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition for a creamy texture.
  6. Stir in the sour cream until smooth and dreamy.
  7. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly browned.
  9. Cool the cheesecake, then refrigerate for at least 240 minutes before serving.

Notes

Chill the cheesecake for the best flavor and texture. Bringing ingredients to room temperature minimizes lumps.
