Description

A vibrant and easy Tomatillo Sauce that adds a delightful zing to your enchiladas and other dishes.


Ingredients

  • 10 tomatillos, husked and quartered
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the tomatillos, onion, garlic, and jalapeño in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, reveling in the fresh, pungent aroma.
  3. Add the cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Blend again until everything is beautifully combined.
  4. Pour the sauce into a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Notes
