Description

Delightful no-bake bars combining chocolate and butterscotch, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
  2. Stir in peanut butter until well blended and creamy.
  3. Combine the Rice Krispies and the peanut butter mixture in a large bowl, stirring until well coated.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan, packing it down firmly.
  5. Melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds.
  6. Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Krispies layer, spreading evenly with a spatula.
  7. Let cool at room temperature before cutting into squares. Serve at room temperature.
