- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- ¾ cup melted butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz whipped topping
- 2 cups strawberries, sliced
- 3 cups strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and ¾ cup sugar in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the whipped topping and spread the mixture over the cooled crust.
- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water.
- Add the sliced strawberries to the gelatin mixture and allow it to cool.
- Pour the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.

Make-ahead magic: this dessert can be prepared a day in advance. For clean slices, dip your knife in warm water before cutting.
