Description

A delightful no-bake dessert featuring creamy layers, salty pretzels, and fresh strawberries, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • ¾ cup melted butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 3 cups strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and ¾ cup sugar in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  5. Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping and spread the mixture over the cooled crust.
  7. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water.
  8. Add the sliced strawberries to the gelatin mixture and allow it to cool.
  9. Pour the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.

Notes

Make-ahead magic: this dessert can be prepared a day in advance. For clean slices, dip your knife in warm water before cutting.
