Description

A refreshing cocktail combining tart lime and sweet cherries, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 45 limes)
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup (or to taste)
  • 12 cups sparkling water (adjust based on your preference for fizz)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime slices and cherries for garnish
  • Optional: Fresh mint leaves for added freshness

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cherries: Start by pitting and halving your cherries.
  2. Make the simple syrup: Combine equal parts sugar and water in a small saucepan and heat until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool.
  3. Juice the limes: Squeeze fresh limes until you get about half a cup of juice.
  4. Combine ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix the fresh lime juice, halved cherries, and simple syrup. Stir well.
  5. Add sparkling water: Just before serving, add the sparkling water and stir gently.
  6. Serve and garnish: Fill glasses with ice, pour in the spiked cherry limeade, and garnish with lime slices and halved cherries.

Notes

Prepare your cherry-lime mixture and simple syrup a day in advance. Best served fresh.
