A refreshing cocktail combining tart lime and sweet cherries, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4–5 limes)
- 1/2 cup simple syrup (or to taste)
- 1–2 cups sparkling water (adjust based on your preference for fizz)
- Ice cubes
- Lime slices and cherries for garnish
- Optional: Fresh mint leaves for added freshness
Instructions
- Prepare the cherries: Start by pitting and halving your cherries.
- Make the simple syrup: Combine equal parts sugar and water in a small saucepan and heat until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool.
- Juice the limes: Squeeze fresh limes until you get about half a cup of juice.
- Combine ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix the fresh lime juice, halved cherries, and simple syrup. Stir well.
- Add sparkling water: Just before serving, add the sparkling water and stir gently.
- Serve and garnish: Fill glasses with ice, pour in the spiked cherry limeade, and garnish with lime slices and halved cherries.
Notes
Prepare your cherry-lime mixture and simple syrup a day in advance. Best served fresh.
