Description

A comforting and quick spaghetti meat sauce, perfect for family dinners and busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef, breaking it up, and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well to combine.
  5. Let the sauce simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
  6. Serve over cooked spaghetti and enjoy!
