- 1 loaf of Italian bread
- 8 ounces of spaghetti
- 4 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Drain spaghetti and add it to the pan. Toss to coat with garlic oil. Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Hollow out the Italian bread to create bowls, leaving a decent amount of bread at the bottom for support.
- Fill each bread bowl generously with the spaghetti mixture.
- Place the filled bowls on a baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the bread is crispy and golden.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
You can prepare the spaghetti mixture a day in advance and store it in the fridge. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
