Description

A heartwarming dish featuring tender spaghetti served in crispy Italian bread bowls, perfect for cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of Italian bread
  • 8 ounces of spaghetti
  • 4 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Drain spaghetti and add it to the pan. Toss to coat with garlic oil. Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Hollow out the Italian bread to create bowls, leaving a decent amount of bread at the bottom for support.
  6. Fill each bread bowl generously with the spaghetti mixture.
  7. Place the filled bowls on a baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the bread is crispy and golden.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.

Notes

You can prepare the spaghetti mixture a day in advance and store it in the fridge. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
