Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crumb topping (made with flour, sugar, butter, and cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beating just until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Mix the crumb topping ingredients in a separate bowl until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the batter.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the crumb cake to cool before serving.
