Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beating just until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Mix the crumb topping ingredients in a separate bowl until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the crumb cake to cool before serving.
