Description

A heartwarming, crowd-pleasing breakfast cooked in a crock pot, filled with turkey bacon, beef sausage, eggs, hash browns, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb. beef sausage, crumbled
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 cups frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients by cooking the turkey bacon and beef sausage in a skillet until browned.
  2. Layer the frozen hash browns at the bottom of your crock pot and sprinkle the cooked meats over them.
  3. Mix the eggs and milk together in a large bowl, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the diced bell peppers and onions into the egg mixture.
  5. Combine the egg mixture with the layered meats and potatoes, topping it with shredded cheese.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until ready.
  7. Serve after letting sit for 10 minutes, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Can be prepared the night before and kept in the fridge. Excellent for meal prep.
