A heartwarming, crowd-pleasing breakfast cooked in a crock pot, filled with turkey bacon, beef sausage, eggs, hash browns, and cheese.

- 1 lb. turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 lb. beef sausage, crumbled
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 4 cups frozen hash browns
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients by cooking the turkey bacon and beef sausage in a skillet until browned.
- Layer the frozen hash browns at the bottom of your crock pot and sprinkle the cooked meats over them.
- Mix the eggs and milk together in a large bowl, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Add the diced bell peppers and onions into the egg mixture.
- Combine the egg mixture with the layered meats and potatoes, topping it with shredded cheese.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until ready.
- Serve after letting sit for 10 minutes, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Can be prepared the night before and kept in the fridge. Excellent for meal prep.
