Description

This Mississippi Pot Roast is a comforting and easy family favorite, slow-cooked to tender perfection with zesty flavors.


Ingredients

  • 35 lbs beef roast (chuck roast)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 jar pepperoncini peppers (with juice)
  • 1 cup au jus (beef broth)
  • 23 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Place the beef roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the roast.
  3. Add the pepperoncini peppers and their juice.
  4. Pour the au jus over the top.
  5. Add a few tablespoons of butter on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or until the meat is tender.
  7. Once done, shred the beef with two forks and serve.
