- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for streusel topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the sour cream, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon for the streusel topping, then sprinkle half of this mixture over the batter in the pan.
- Spread the remaining batter on top, and then sprinkle the rest of the streusel topping over it.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
