Description

A warm and comforting Indian Spiced Pasta perfect for weeknight dinners, packed with flavor and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g macaroni (mini macaroni)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 45 cups water for boiling
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil (neutral)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons garlic (45 large cloves), finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • ½ cup tomato, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and add salt. Once boiling, add the macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the cooking oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat, letting the butter melt.
  3. Add the chopped garlic and sauté until golden and aromatic.
  4. Toss in the chopped onion and green bell pepper, cooking until softened.
  5. Stir in the chopped tomato and red chilli flakes, cooking until the tomatoes are soft.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni to the pan, mixing everything well.
  7. Adjust seasoning as needed and serve hot.

Notes
