A heartwarming sheet pan dinner featuring tender sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli, all infused with a delicious honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 ounces smoked sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 large head broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon of water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the sweet potato cubes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them on the baking sheet.
  3. Roast the sweet potatoes for 15 minutes.
  4. Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer, then whisk in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
  5. Add the sausage and broccoli to the baking sheet, drizzling with half the sauce. Toss gently to coat.
  6. Return the pan to the oven and roast for another 15-20 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with remaining sauce. Toss and serve immediately.
