Description

A comforting side dish featuring tender green beans sautéed in garlic and butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans (trimmed)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the trimmed green beans into a large skillet. Cover them with water and let them cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes until they turn a vibrant green and slightly tender.
  2. Drain the green beans and return them to the skillet.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and let it melt, stirring for about 3 minutes until the beans are coated in buttery goodness.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until it’s fragrant and golden.
  5. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, then toss to combine.
