Description

A warm and gooey grilled cheese sandwich cradled between two crispy, buttery slices of garlic bread. Perfect for busy weeknights or a delightful lunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of garlic bread
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Optional: herbs (e.g., parsley, oregano) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place two slices of garlic bread in the skillet, butter side down.
  3. Add two slices of cheese on top of the bread.
  4. Top with the remaining garlic bread slices, butter side up.
  5. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then carefully flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
  6. Remove from heat and slice in half.
  7. Garnish with herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Make-ahead sandwiches can be assembled but should not be cooked until you’re ready to eat. Customize with different cheese options or add-ins like spinach or turkey bacon.
