Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced peaches.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop batter by spoonfuls into the hot oil, frying until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Dust generously with powdered sugar and serve warm.
