Description

Delightfully warm and gooey fresh peach fritters, perfect for any cozy gathering or weekend brunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the diced peaches.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Drop batter by spoonfuls into the hot oil, frying until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Dust generously with powdered sugar and serve warm.
