- 2 lbs stew meat
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the stew meat with salt and pepper, allowing the flavors to penetrate the meat.
- Blend the brown gravy mix, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Place the seasoned stew meat into your Crock Pot and pour the savory mixture over the top, making sure all the meat is coated.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meat is tender and the gravy is rich and flavorful.
- If you prefer a thicker gravy, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir it into the gravy during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Before serving, sprinkle fresh parsley over the dish for a touch of color and freshness.
