- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté the diced onion until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Season the chicken breasts with paprika, salt, and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
- Cook until they are beautifully browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream.
- Simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
- Serve the creamy chicken over the cooked rice.
Notes
