Instructions
- Prepare the Cake: Bake the yellow cake according to package instructions and let it cool for about 15 minutes until it’s warm to the touch.
- Mix the Lemonade: In a small bowl, combine the thawed lemonade concentrate with the powdered sugar until smooth.
- Poke the Cake: Use a long-pronged fork to poke holes in the warm cake, spacing them about 1/2 inch apart.
- Loosen the Edges: Gently run a knife around the edges of the cake to loosen it from the pan.
- Pour the Mixture: Pour the lemonade mixture evenly over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
- Chill in the Fridge: Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 120 minutes.
- Add Frosting and Sprinkles: When ready to serve, add frosting and top with sprinkles.
