Description

A decadent dessert combining rich chocolate and tart raspberries, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan to form a sturdy crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 10-15 minutes, or until it turns a lovely golden brown.
  4. In a saucepan, gently heat the heavy cream until it is just simmering.
  5. Pour the hot cream over the chopped dark chocolate and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Then stir until the chocolate is completely smooth and creamy.
  6. Pour the chocolate filling into the prepared crust and gently place fresh raspberries on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes to allow the tart to set before serving.

Notes

This tart can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. For clean slices, dip your knife in hot water before cutting.
