Description

A comforting dish of layered creamy potatoes, rich cheeses, and garlic that warms the soul.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Mix together the sour cream, milk, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread half of the sour cream mixture over the potatoes, then sprinkle with half of each cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, sour cream mixture, and cheeses.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
