Description

A comforting casserole combining ground beef, cheese, and crispy French fries—a family favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen French fries
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup pickles, diced
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper, allowing flavors to meld together beautifully.
  4. In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the frozen French fries.
  5. Spread the beef mixture over the fries evenly.
  6. Add the remaining French fries on top.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheese and diced pickles over the top.
  8. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the fries are golden and the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or chili powder. Customize with different cheeses or proteins as desired.
