- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups frozen French fries
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup pickles, diced
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper, allowing flavors to meld together beautifully.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the frozen French fries.
- Spread the beef mixture over the fries evenly.
- Add the remaining French fries on top.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese and diced pickles over the top.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the fries are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or chili powder. Customize with different cheeses or proteins as desired.
