Description

A delightful dish of Brussels sprouts with turkey bacon, pecans, cranberries, and balsamic glaze, perfect for weeknight dinners or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 6 oz turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts.
  3. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  4. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they are crispy and golden.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  7. Toast the pecans in the same skillet for a few minutes until fragrant, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
  8. Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and add the crispy turkey bacon, toasted pecans, and dried cranberries.
  9. Drizzle generously with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead advice: You can trim and halve your Brussels sprouts a day in advance. Store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to roast.
