Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place the chicken pieces in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they’re all well-coated.
  3. Seal the bag tightly, giving it a gentle shake to mix everything beautifully, then refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or overnight for best flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  6. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until it’s cooked through and boasts a beautiful char.
