Description

A cozy and delicious dish featuring chicken breasts stuffed with a spicy jalapeno and cheese mixture, wrapped in crispy turkey bacon.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 812 slices of turkey bacon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeno halves, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  3. Take each chicken breast and make a pocket in the side. Stuff with the jalapeno cream cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with turkey bacon slices, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  5. Place the wrapped chicken in a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Customize with additional spices or swap turkey bacon for a plant-based alternative. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days.
