- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8–12 slices of turkey bacon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeno halves, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Take each chicken breast and make a pocket in the side. Stuff with the jalapeno cream cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with turkey bacon slices, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
- Place the wrapped chicken in a baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Customize with additional spices or swap turkey bacon for a plant-based alternative. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days.
