- 6 slices of turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the chopped turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
- Combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and bacon in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the mixture in the center of an egg roll wrapper. Roll tightly and seal edges with water.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
Notes
These egg rolls can also be made in advance. Fill them up and freeze before frying for a quick snack later.
