Description

Crispy egg rolls filled with a creamy mixture of turkey bacon, cream cheese, cheddar, and jalapeños, perfect for a cozy snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices of turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the chopped turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and bacon in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place about 2 tablespoons of the mixture in the center of an egg roll wrapper. Roll tightly and seal edges with water.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Notes

These egg rolls can also be made in advance. Fill them up and freeze before frying for a quick snack later.
