Description

A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich that combines crispy turkey bacon, creamy guacamole, and gooey cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of cooked turkey bacon
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. Mash the avocado and mix it with lime juice, salt, and pepper to make your guacamole.
  2. Place a slice of cheese on one slice of bread, followed by the crispy turkey bacon, and spread the guacamole on top.
  3. Top with another slice of cheese.
  4. Put the second slice of bread on top to create a sandwich.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and butter the outside of the sandwich.
  6. Grill the sandwich until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Slice the sandwich in half and serve warm.

Notes

You can prepare the guacamole a few hours in advance to save time. Use thicker slices of bread for a crispier sandwich.
