- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
- 1/4 cup melted butter (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- If desired, combine breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole is make-ahead friendly and freezes well. Consider adding vegetables or extra cheese for a customized dish.
