- 1 head of cabbage
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Balsamic vinegar (optional)
- Grated cheese (such as Parmesan or cheddar, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Slice the cabbage into 1-inch thick steaks.
- Mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks with the olive oil mixture.
- Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet and drizzle with balsamic vinegar, if desired.
- Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Sprinkle grated cheese on top in the last 5 minutes of roasting, if desired.
- Serve warm as a side dish or main course.
