Description

A heartwarming Pecan Pie Dump Cake that combines gooey pecan pie filling with a crunchy crust, perfect for cozy fall gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 can (15 oz) pecan pie filling
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the pecan pie filling evenly on the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pie filling.
  4. Scatter the chopped pecans on top of the cake mix.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the entire mixture.
  6. Pour 1 cup of water over the top (do not stir).
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the gooey, crunchy combination!

Notes

Store leftover cake in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. It can also be reheated in the oven for a few minutes if desired.
