- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 can (15 oz) pecan pie filling
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the pecan pie filling evenly on the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pie filling.
- Scatter the chopped pecans on top of the cake mix.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the entire mixture.
- Pour 1 cup of water over the top (do not stir).
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the gooey, crunchy combination!
Notes
Store leftover cake in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. It can also be reheated in the oven for a few minutes if desired.
