Description

A cozy and hearty lasagna blending the comforting flavors of a classic cheeseburger with layers of creamy pasta, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook ground beef with minced garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  5. Mix in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cooked turkey bacon, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  7. To assemble, layer noodles, beef mixture, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese in a baking dish. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used up, finishing with mozzarella and the remaining Parmesan on top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let cool before serving.

Notes

For a zesty veggie option, add layers of sautéed zucchini, mushrooms, and spinach. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing for neat layers.
