Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until soft and aromatic, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Toss in sliced mushrooms and cook until browned.
  4. Push veggies to the side and add chicken breasts, seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently to combine with mushrooms and onions.
  7. Let it simmer a few minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  8. Serve over mashed potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes
