Description

Ingredients

  • 1 head of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Carefully add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until caramelized, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer, scraping up brown bits from the skillet.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish can be prepared a day in advance and reheated. Use fresh garlic for an even richer flavor.
