Description

A delightful salad featuring crunchy cabbage, carrots, zesty red onions, and creamy dressing, topped with Fritos for extra crunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup Fritos corn chips
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, shredded carrots, diced red onion, and shredded cheese.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well to combine.
  4. Just before serving, fold in the Fritos for a satisfying crunch.
  5. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for a short time before serving.

Notes

This salad can be made a few hours in advance. Add the Fritos right before serving to keep them crunchy.
