- ½ cup mayonnaise (divided)
- 2 ounces sun-dried tomatoes (drained)
- 2 cloves garlic (or more to taste)
- 4 slices sourdough bread (or your favorite bread, or use a wrap/tortilla)
- 6 slices turkey deli meat (divided)
- 6 slices turkey bacon (cooked)
- 1 avocado (divided)
- 4 leaves romaine lettuce (divided)
Instructions
- Prepare the Sun-Dried Tomato Mayonnaise: In a small bowl, combine ½ cup of mayonnaise, the drained sun-dried tomatoes, and minced garlic. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust garlic if desired!
- Toast Your Bread: If you like it crispy, toast the sourdough slices until golden brown.
- Layer the Ingredients: On one slice of toasted bread, spread a generous amount of the sun-dried tomato mayonnaise.
- Add the Turkey: Place 2 slices of turkey deli meat on top of the mayo.
- Top with Turkey Bacon: Layer 2 slices of cooked turkey bacon on top.
- Slice half of the avocado and layer it over the turkey bacon. Add 1 leaf of romaine lettuce.
- Repeat the layers with more mayonnaise, remaining turkey, bacon, avocado, and another leaf of lettuce.
- Top with the final slice of toasted bread.
- Slice your sandwich in half, revealing the layers inside. Serve with extra sun-dried tomato mayonnaise on the side.
Notes
Feel free to customize with other meats or additional veggies for variations. Store leftover sandwiches tightly wrapped for 1-2 days.
