- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Easter M&M candies
- Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the Easter M&M candies and chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoons of cookie dough onto your prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each scoop.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Dough can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to a month. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
