Description

A comforting and creamy slow-cooked chicken dish served over angel hair pasta, perfect for family dinners and meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth in a slow cooker. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the chicken breasts into the slow cooker, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 240-360 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and falls apart tender.
  4. Cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions about 30 minutes before serving. Drain and set aside.
  5. Shred the cooked chicken right in the slow cooker and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted into a creamy blend.
  6. Serve the chicken sauce over a bed of angel hair pasta, garnishing with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For best results, prepare the sauce in advance and let the flavors marry in the fridge before cooking the chicken.
