- 1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for Bang Bang Sauce)
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (for Bang Bang Sauce)
- 1 tbsp sriracha (for Bang Bang Sauce, adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp honey (for Bang Bang Sauce)
- 1 tbsp lime juice (for Bang Bang Sauce)
Instructions
- Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and another for panko mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each salmon piece in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and roll it in the panko mixture. Place the breaded bites on a plate.
- Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot.
- Fry the salmon bites in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- While frying, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice for the Bang Bang sauce.
- Serve the salmon bites drizzled with Bang Bang sauce. Enjoy!
