Description

Delicious crispy bites of salmon paired with a creamy, zesty Bang Bang sauce, perfect for any cozy occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for Bang Bang Sauce)
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (for Bang Bang Sauce)
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (for Bang Bang Sauce, adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey (for Bang Bang Sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice (for Bang Bang Sauce)

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and another for panko mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each salmon piece in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and roll it in the panko mixture. Place the breaded bites on a plate.
  4. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot.
  5. Fry the salmon bites in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While frying, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice for the Bang Bang sauce.
  7. Serve the salmon bites drizzled with Bang Bang sauce. Enjoy!
