- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
- 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (for filling)
- 1 large egg
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a small bowl, combine ½ cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
- Open the packages of crescent roll dough and unroll them onto a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, pressing them together to form a crust.
- Pour half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the dough.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together 16 ounces of softened cream cheese, ¾ cup granulated sugar, 1 large egg, and 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract until creamy and smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the first layer of dough.
- Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough on top and press to seal the edges.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top layer and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture generously on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing into squares.

Can be prepared a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
