Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb Cajun smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned—about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
