Description

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Sprinkle of sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets, giving each cookie some space to spread.
  7. Finish each cookie with a light sprinkle of sea salt on top.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are slightly underbaked.
