- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Prep the apples by peeling and cutting them into fry-like sticks, then pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with whisked egg and milk, and one with a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Coat each apple stick in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Air fry the coated apple fries after spraying them with cooking spray, placing them in a single layer.
- Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
